With an open concept living space, this spacious home offers the perfect remote getaway whether you're looking to work remotely or gather with family and friends for a vacation getaway.
The home's many great features allow you to unwind and enjoy the serene lakefront setting. Soak in the hot tub, play games in the recreational room, or roast marshmallows around the fire pit by the lake's edge. The private dock provides front-row seats to spectacular sunsets on the water. We are in a residential neighborhood and due to this we have a strict rule of QUIET HOURS - 11pm to 7am.
With three cozy bedrooms and three updated bathrooms! The open concept family room features a large kitchen, dining area, and living room with stunning views of the tranquil lake from every window. Location
The location is an easy drive to/from Charlotte, Winston-Salem, Asheville, Boone, and Blowing Rock. Day trips to the NC mountains, college visits, or shopping are convenient.
Quaint downtown Granite Falls is only 11 minutes away, where you can enjoy ice cream, coffee shop, and restaurants. Convenience store is 4 minutes away and Walmart is 8 minutes away.
House
Our open concept lake house is ready for your comfort and entertainment. All TVs are smart TVs for music and streaming channels. We provide a Netflix login. If you have Hulu, Vudu, YouTube, Amazon, etc you can use your login on any TVs. Key code will be provided for convenient access. Wi-Fi available. Check-in is 4pm - 10pm and check out is 11am.
Main Level
The main level has 1 bedroom with a king bed, 1 full bathroom, open area living, dining, fully equipped kitchen, and deck with lake view, propane grill, and additional dining seating and gathering area.
Top Level
The top level includes a bedroom with 1 queen bed, 2 twins (trundle bed), and a bathroom with a shower.
Lower Level
The lower level includes a bedroom with 1 queen bed, 2 twins (bunk bed), full bathroom, washer/dryer, and large gathering / game room with 50" smart TV, pool table, foosball table, darts, and board games. Walk out the lower level to the lake side of the home where there is a hot tub and fire pit.
Dock
Our boat may be lifted in the dock. Our boat and lift are not included with the rental, however you are welcome to bring your boat or rent one from the local marinas. There is plenty of space to tie up at the dock.
The dock offers plenty of shade and afternoon sun for your choosing.
Like many lake properties, the walk to the lake is moderately steep. Some guests may opt to pick up grandma or grandpa at the Lovelady Access Area (boat ramp) 4 minutes away. We can offer more information if requested.
Video Security
We utilize a Ring doorbell which has motion activated video feed and audio call capability.

Driveway parking will easily accommodate 4 cars.
-While the home is safe, there are no specific child-proofing mechanisms. Lake and steep areas are accessible via a short walk. Ensure your children are aware of the dangers and are supervised, especially at the dock and while swimming.
- A variety of life jackets are available. If you need certain sizes, please let us know.
- Fishing is allowed with permit.
- There is no lifeguard available. Swim, boat, and play at your own risk.
- Our property and adjacent properties have some steep areas. Ensure all, especially children, are aware of their surroundings.
- Bicycles, skateboards, skates, etc are not recommended on the sidewalk and path.
- Power outlets, toilets, doors, cabinets, stairs, etc are not babyproofed. Home is safe and well up to code but extra precaution and monitoring is needed for babies and toddlers.
- Upper level bunk beds have railings. Children should be instructed on how to use bunk beds safely. No jumping from the upper level bunks.
- We have furnished the home with care and ask that our guests treat our home and furnishings with that same care.
Additional Rules & Fees
Obey all local laws, codes and ordinances - $1,000 fine for any citation.
No Parties - $500 fine.
Pets are welcome but we do require guests to disclose that they are bringing a pet since when the pet is listed as a “guest” it adds our standard $150 pet fee. This fee covers extra cleaning services required to restore the home to rentable condition. Not disclosing your pet will incur a $300 fee due to the inconvenience of disrupting cleaning service preparations and operations.
No smoking/vaping/candles/incense INDOORS - $500 fine. Smoking only allowed outdoors with windows closed and cigarette butts disposed of only in outdoor trash. If smoke or cigarette smell is not dispersed after the house is cleaned you will incur a $250 fine.
Check-out is at 11am ET and Check-In is at 4pm ET. $50 late checkout and $50 early check-in fee if available, non-negotiable before 1pm. After 1pm, guests will pay that night's base rate due to inability for future guests to book the same day.
Max number of people on property - 10 people. Every unauthorized guest on our property beyond our max occupancy of 10 people will result in a fee of $50 per unauthorized guest.
Quiet hours: 11PM-7AM.
No spray tanning/henna application/hair dyeing.
Lock home and windows when leaving.
Trash and Recycling are at the backside of the house. Pickup is very early Tuesday morning. Please place containers by the curb Monday evening.
If guests are found in the unfortunate event of disruptions alerting neighbors, GUESTS WILL BE ASKED TO VACATE THE PROPERTY IMMEDIATELY.
• If guests are suspected of carrying and/or using illegal drugs of any kind, the authorities will be engaged, and GUESTS WILL BE ASKED TO VACATE THE PROPERTY IMMEDIATELY.
• Lastly, because this is an Airbnb community not a hotel, please be respectful of the property and keep it clean before you leave.
Please park in the designated parking spot. Free parking is allowed on the street as well. Please note, we are not responsible for any events related to your vehicle while parked on the street or designated parking spot.
